I need to learn how to code muds.
ok, i have been really interested in coding, all my friends say it is kinda cool, if someone has the time to teach me or give me an imp spot on their diku/circle mud i would be grateful and reward you with 160 points.

You can start coding straightly with simple c porgramming with the available compilers, you get with your system. or , you can download an IDE like codewarrior from http://www.metrowerks.com, which has a powerful framwe work called powerplant, which helps you start your coding very easily.
If you want to go for porting options, you can look into Microsoft vc++ 4.o cross platform edition for macintosh, which helps you to port existing MFC application.
