Bootup

On bootup I receive the following message "file 15-16w95.vxd is out of date. I have to click on it three times to get rid of it, and then windows comes up ok.
Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It must be something to do with your sound card.
Go to this page http://web1.seaside.net/downloads/drivers/dcc/acerfx3d/
and download 15-16w95.vxd, replace the old one, see if that gets rid of the message, if not download a most recent sound card driver and reinstall it.
