How Do I Send HTML Email?

I have been writing HTML and building websites since 1996 but I am now getting some messages (newsletters mainly) that have pictures in them and also are using HTML.  I have tried this myself but just sending HTML code to me results in just text of HTML code!  Any help you can give would be appreciated.  Thanks, Lee.

In the header of the e-mail is where the content type is described. If listbot allows you to edit this then you want something like:

From: hello@hi.com
To: blah@blah.com
Subject: Hey There!!
Content-Type: text/html;
      charset="iso-8859-1"

Only email clients that can read and interpret HTML will be able to display these message properly, however.

Hope this helps

This needs to be handled by the emailer itself; changing the content-type of the message to HTML instead of straight text. What software are you now using to send text e-mail, that you want to send HTML e-mail instead?

I send an email out using ListBot at present.  Is there a better alternative that allows HTML email or does ListBot allow this feature?  I do also use Outlook Express too, so if that allowed it I could just create an email address list from my ListBot addressees and send it from Outlook Express.

Not all Email readers can show html page. Send url instead of code.
