"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The most common and popular GUI configurator
on the scene is Comanche.
You can get it here:
http://comanche.com.dtu.dk/comanche/
but I know that RedHat distributions has it already inside.
I tried to use it once or twice, but then returned to editing config files manually.
The comments in the default files are self-explantory, and you can always read the docs for some special feature.
That's what unix is all about: shell and vi...just kidding.

You could also use linuxconf - this utility also has a nice graphical way to configure apache. Try it.

Just run comanche as root for the command line.
