hi summerset,

just set the index of the field, if there one, by the dataset indexfieldname-property,

if you don't have an index on the fields, then can i send you a sample, which creates a ordered query on the fly, by clicking the column-header, and updates the changes by using a tupdatesql-component.

just, leave your email-address here.

anyway,
thanks for the points,
glad to helped you
good luck again
