Hello, i am wondering if you guys can help me? I have a compaq armarda laptop and am trying to setup windows 98 without sucsess.First i made a startup disk from my desktop computer then i partisioned and formatted the hardrive then at the prompt i insert the cd, i then typed setup.exe evrything goes according to plan untill 11 minutes (the second restart)to go when it restart saying windows is continuing to load.... and the curser flashing in the top left hand corner.I have written to nowonder before with this problem and was told to wait but this did not work! Its frustrating because i feel im so close to finishing.Is there any other solution maybe a disk from compaq or something? Anyway i must thank everyone for their help .
