Microcom Deskporte ES 28.8 Modem Initialization String?

What is the modem initialization string that gives the true connect rate instead of this one "Connected at 115200 bps" for the Microcom Deskporte ES 28.8 modem?  Thank you.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Add 'W1' or 'W2' or 'W3' or 'W4' into the "extra settings" in the "advanced" setup for the modem.

I used to know this, because I used to have that modem.

Here is a connection string that should work:

Thanks, CABLE4096. Your comment:

InitString=AT&F W2 &C1 &D3 &K3 &Q5 %C3\N3 S7=60 S95=47

confirms what Otta wrote, namely that 'W2' is the best answer, although, in general, 'W1' and 'W3' produce different "reports" which are also useful.
