"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi there:

I'm not sure what you want to do but here I'll try to explain you what you must do.

1.- Yo can make a thank you popup window (the easiest) this way:

Insert this code in your form page (head section)

<script language="javascript">
<!--
function thanks() {
  alert("thank you!")
  document.form_name.submit()
}
//-->
</script>

and change your submit button for this one
<input type="button" Value="Submit" onclick="thanks()">

2.- If you are calling a CGI from your form you must add the necesay code to the CGI to generate your Thank you page
