software dev. in Mac

I have Visual C++ 6.0 on my PC for software development. But how would I develop games on my Mac for the Mac and PC? I have a PowerComputing 185 MHz PowerTower Pro 180 Mac clone computer with 64 MB of RAM and a 2 gig hard drive.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Well you could Use MetroWerk's CodeWarrior to create both Mac and Windows Apps on you Mac.  That does not mean that you will be only write one program for both Platforms though.  You will need to write a source for the Mac version and a source for the Win version because of the differances in the platforms.  Once you know those differances you should not have a problem porting a game from one Platform to the other.  You should not have a problem running the newest version of CodeWarrior on you Mac but the professional version is 350-400 dollars and a Discover version for 50-80 dollars. web site
