Restore Outlook w/o a .pst file

I did not export my outlook database to a pst file before backing up my hard drive. I reinstalled office now i would like to restore just the database.. is their a file that just contains the database so i can restore it over my installation database without replacing the entire office directory?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you're not connecting to an Exchange Server all your data is in a PST file already (no export needed). Check your backup media for one.

vince is correct it is either in a pst or on the exchage server.  If it on exchange just add the service and you will be fine.  If you are not on exchage just do a find for *.pst and add a personal folder to your services menu.

Hope this helps
