problem with IntelliMouse explorer

I've bought an IntelliMouse explorer yesterday. But the thumbbuttons don't work in games. It works properly under Win98. I have the latest driver installed.

Please recheck again to check whether this game supports mouse with multiple buttons. Because some games do not support or do not recognize the extra buttons or wheels of a mouse. You might like to check with the game manufacturer or read up from the manual. Hope that helps :-)

i beleive the thumb buttons are only intended for the front and back arrows in the upper left corner of "net" screens. mine works fine.

I've heard, that some games I play support the additional buttons (ie. Quake 3, Unreal Tournament, some strategy-games,...). As said, under windows the buttons work fine (the front and back arrows in the internet explorer). Only in games they don't work.

you can assign these to some games... i used them for Forsaken... but that game has advanced support for just about any type of device... it all depends on the game..

also try this... assign the bottons to a letter that isnt already used in the game, then assign whatever option in the game to that key.. that way when you click the mouse you are actually clicking a key and the game should pick it up.
