Dynamic Sorting

How can we sort the documents (LotusScript) in the database using different keys dynamically (key specified by the user)? this is for reporting purpose.

A very easy way is to create a view with a column for each possible keys. In the column properties check the property Sorting-"Click the column header to sort..".
Now the user can sort the view after each key he wants to just by clicking the column.

In R5 you have the ablility to modify the sort and the formula or field of a ViewColumn in Script, but in R4.x you can only modify the field or formula.  Either way this is probably not something you would be able to do on the fly.  Though you could probably use it to generate a report on the backend.

This is an interesting problem, hope you solve it.
