Ok I have FrontPage 2000 and office 2000.
I am in frontpage and inside a web...I have about 30 files all with the extension of .htm.  But for some reason when I double click on some of the files it launches Word and not Front Page...what I want to know is why some lauch the editor and some launch Word.
All the files were created with word 2000 then saved as htm.
Does this have anything to do with Office 2000 features?

I've noticed the same thing.  If you have created an HTML document using Word 2K, and you open the document for editing, it defaults to Word for editing.  And vice-versa for FP 2K.

So I am assuming that once you have created a document using Word 2K, you would like to be able to edit the document using FP 2K.  If that is correct, the solution is for you to open FrontPage, and use the "Open File" command, and select the document in question.  This will force the document to open inside your FP editor.  Once it is saved, that document will default to FP as the editor of choice.

Hope that helps...
