"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

i think you will have to elaborate
You can MIME encode it. Most email programs support MIME encoding. This is how binary files are posted to newsgroups.
I think in widows you can do it by adding a .txt extension to the file. you usually have to enable "full file name extensions" in the folder options though.
what kind of binary file?
If it's just some text file with funky characters (ie instead of linefeeds) its quite easy to make a program or script to convert it into plain ascii. Alternatively, you can use search and replace functions of any old text editor.
