EZ BIOS - MBR

I have a system that for some reason its MBR got corrupted...It uses EZ Bios to access the large hard drive..older system would not recognize the larger HD.  Well for some reason the system wont boot.  I cant find my old EZ disk so I can restore the MBR with command EZ /MBR.  I have done several searches on the net to find the software but I cant find it.  All the system does is hang at loading EZ bios and does not allow for you to press the CRTL to boot from floppy.  However if I put a dos disk in an boot from that prior to EZ Bios loading it boots fine.  But it does not allow access to the HD becuase EZ bios is not loaded.

Anyone know where i Can DL the EZ software or if there is something else i can do to save the info on the drive i would appreciate it.

First what is the make of your HD?
If it is Western Digital then here is their software:
http://www.westerndigital.com/service/ftp/drives.html#dlgtools

But this is not going to help you with your current problem, to restore the MBR you will need the original disk that you installed from and it has a copy of the MBR that you can restore, if you download the software and try to restore the MBR then you will likely get error message saying the backup cannot be found.
If you reinstall the software then you will erase everything on your HD

I think you need to go into advanced features, I'm not real sure of exactly what it is called since it has been long time since I have used it

Instead of using the reload button, use the reload question buttion on the right side of the header

Which version??????????????????????????????????????????
It would help alot if you would at least read what has been posted and answer the questions or give the info that is requested.
AND PLEASE QUIT HITTING THE RELOAD BUTTON
This is very annoying

I really don't know if that will do what you want or not, I have never tried to restore the MBR from a new disk. The few times I had this happen I used the original install disk and restored from the backup copy that is stored there.
I have learned to never let Norton or First Aid to fix a problem or delete a virus it finds in the MBR when you are using "disk managment software" Although now I have no computers that needs to use that software.
