how to config- actiontec call waiting modem in Macmillan 6.5

I cant get it to work, help im new a linux, the modem  
it is always busy end a cant dial out to the isp.
Linux version linux-mandrake 6.1
the modem is a Actiontec 56k internal, model pci56012-01cw,

Not supported. Wont work. Thats a memory mapped device. Wait until someone writes a driver for it.

(Note: These are NOT the same as a Winmodem which doesnt work for other reasons. Just that mem-mapped modems (95% of all PCI modems) talk to the system in a different way)

Check the hardware compatibility lists.  Then go buy and external modem.  guaranteed to work.
