Hi there:

Here goes an example:

------- 8< ----------- 8< ---------
<img src="test.gif" width="148" height="148" border="0" usemap="#imagemap1">
<map name="imagemap1">
<area shape="poly" coords="34,78,38,79,79,85,77,117,62,128,27,117,35,79,38,81" href="http://www.foo.com/test3.htm" target="frame3" alt="Press3">
<area shape="circle" coords="88,62,21" href="http://www.foo.com/test2.htm" target="frame2" alt="Press 2">
<area shape="rect" coords="23,16,67,52" href="http://www.foo.com/test1.htm" target="frame1" alt="Press 1">
</map>
------- 8< ----------- 8< ---------

as you can see you must use shapes.
There are tree kind of shapes.
Circle shape, with an (X,Y,Radious) as coords
Poly shape, with (x,y), (x,y), ...
Rect shape, with (x1,x1,x2,y2) coors

Anyway it's better for you to use any of the multiple free programs that's calculate the coordinates for you.
