I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It occurs whenever the form is corrupted.

Copy all design elements and event script to a new form.

when r u receiving this error??

AnnabeleAuthor Commented:
This error occurs when trying to open a created folder. You can create a folder and sort your messages, yet periodically even if you haven't created anything new, you get the error message when trying to open the folder. However, in one instance, this error message occured when trying to access the 'sent' file and not a created folder.

The key to realize though is that while the folder is corrupt, the actual data is not and is still accessable thru the 'all documents' option. Unfortunately, once a folder is corrupt, you can not even right click it to delete or alter the folder.

While Hamanth explains a cause or solotion to fixing this problem, this doesn't explain how to go about it since you can't even right click the folder that is corrupted to even alter it's properties.

This is what I suspected actually from the begining.  What u caould have tried is using shift+ctrl+f9 to see if it will fix the views and folders or probably run fixup or updall.  u have to go in the design to be able to see the folder and work with it more freely.

Hi

Try to rebuild the index for all of the views by using Ctrl+Shift+F9 (hope it is a mail database and you are talking about the personal folder in the datbase).

Good Luck
