FrontPage 2000 Import Wizard....

I'm trying to import a site that is on our intranet using the import wizard so that I can do some maintenance.  I can import all of the pages and files without any problem.  Is there any way that I can pull the navigation with it?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

.... if you have been set up as a local user and have permission (password, etc) capability and can File-OpenWeb the online intranet web successfully, then you can either edit it "up there" or File-Publish it down to your work station HDD as http://WhateverLocalUserName/webwhatever.

If you mean can you import the 'Navigation View', then the answer is 'NO', in my experience.  The required files that are used by Frontpage to define the Navigation view will be missing, and Frontpage cannot recreate them as it does not know the heirarchy of the web page as defined in the original view.

Sorry I cannot give better news :-(
