Do fonts really use up system resources in win 95(8)and if so, the more fonts the more resources used?

(win95 has 2x64Kbyte of sys resources, fixed amount, which can't be altered)

Absolutely. System has to keep a list of all fonts in memory, which uses precious resources, which in the end will slow the system.
