Entering win98 logon windows without entering password and click [cancel] button. Now, you are logon the local machine of win98. Use Start-find to search for file *.pwl.
Delete the *.pwl and restart the computer.

Re-enter win98 logon windows and enter new password, it will recreate and logon to your profile again.
