I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Which version of Domino are you running?
In Notes 4.6 there are a couple of Notes databases that you can have a look in to see if there is any problems, these are:
smtpibwq.nsf - inbound mail
smtpobwq.nsf - outbound mail

Also check mail routing in the Notes log.

I find the easiest way to check if SMTP is working is to send an email to myself!

R5 server is slightly different.
