Could anyone advise if I can get addional "themes" for FrontPage 98?
1 Solution

     You have 2 options here.

1.  There are several websites that "sell" themes for FrontPage 98/2K on the web.  Doing a simple search for "Frontpage Themes" will give you plenty of results.  Most offer free samples, but you'll have to pay for the good ones they have made.

2.  Or even better, design your own!  Yes, the FP 98 CD comes with a FrontPage Designer program that isn't installed with the original program (I still haven't figured out why).  On the FP 98 CD (assuming "D:" is your CD-Rom), it's located at D:\SDK\Themes\Designer\tdsetup.exe

It's actually VERY easy to use considering the functionality of themes.  It even writes your font and color schemes as CSS files.

The easiest way to figure out how to use it, is to load one of the themes that comes with FP and see how the program accesses and organizes the different features of a theme.  Once you see the "parts" of a theme, making one for yourself is rather easy.

Hope this helps,
