starting services -- access denied
Hello,
I have local administrator privilege on my NT 4.0 workstation. For some reason I cannot start Norton Antivirus services. The error being Access denied.
What should I do? Reload Norton? Is there a better way?

Go to the Startup of the Norton Antivirus service and tell it to run in the context of your administrative account.
I've seen this before with other services. It may not be a security problem, but rather a problem with file in use.
I've had this with SQL, and the only way around it is to re-install.

Have you changed the Admin password for that machine? Has norton ever worked? Did you install Norton over the network?
What if you start the service from a other PC via servermanager?
