I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try one of these:
1) Make sure you only have 1 Personal Folder service here: Tools menu > Services. Remove any extras.
2) Right-click on the root of the extra set of Personal Folders and choose "Disconnect"
3) Go into your registry at this point:
(Win 95) HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\<your profile name>
(Win NT) HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\<your profile name>
Look in the tree under that point (it should be full of keys with long hexidecimal value names) and look for a section that references the PST file you want off of your folder tree. Export that section (for safety) and then delete it.

Thanks. It is a good answer but there must be an easier way. It will do for me. Also tell me how does it put the extra PST folder automatically.

THanks again.

Your admin could have something in login scripts to modify your MAPI profile
