part 2 to my q. plz help =)

ok I have now made a diff name dbase and table.
win98
i am using xitami webserver
php4b3
mysql
I have bound mysql to 127.0.0.1 (localhost)
and I have the isapid manager running....
php is functioning correctly when i use other scripts that dont use database..

here is my code so far...
<?

// open link to the mysql dbase

$bd = mysql_connect("localhost","httpd","");

// select dbase.... (bus is there when i use mysql)
$mysql_select_db("bus",$bd);

// busdir is the name of my table in db bus.

$query = "INSERT INTO busdir (dest,company,email,phone,address,city,state,zip) VALUES ('$dest', '$company', '$email', '$phone', '$address', '$city', '$state', $'zip')";

mysql_query($query);

?>

I am still getting this error

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: () in C:/XITAMI/webpages/addbus.php on line 8"

what does this mean...... aurrghhhhh ( hehe I am getting so frusterated)

 thank you for helping me w/problem everyone.

Got it... it's the PHP beta 3... I've tried it, and basically if you use mysql_select_db with a connection part, ie the $bd bit, then it screws up for some slack reason. Beta 2 worked perfectly for me as it was ;)

Anyway, the cure :
Use mysql_select_db('bus');

Should cure it.
