NT and Ctrl-Alt-Del

Is there a way to disable the Ctr-Alt-Del toets in NT.
We want the customer not to leave his program. With SetForeGroundWindow it works ok for all other key's but not for Ctrl-Alt-Del

Hi,

Not easily, I have found a program (not shareware) that will work.  The problem is I can't remember the site (its at work, I'm at home) and won't be in to work until after Christmas.  If you still need something then I'll get the address.

Good luck

use a timer control to have an event every 1 sec or so.
in that event use "GetForegroundWindow" API to get the HWND of the foreground window.
then, use "GetWindowText" API to get that window caption.
now, check this caption. if it matches to the caption that is in NT ALT+CTRL+DEL window caption - just send the keys ALT+F4. the window will be closed.

Hi,

I ended up getting called into work so I will pass the site onto you.

I have not tried it myself, but from the data sheet, it looks like it will work.

Good luck,

Frank
