Simple question abot linking lib files..

Hi all...
i have simple question about linking lib files:
Im developing some class that contains this line in the cpp file:

#pragma comment(lib, "winmm.lib")

my question is if the user ALREADY linked this libray will this
line will cause problems or will it consume momre memory??
How can i check if this library is already been linked in some way??

Thanks...

Users don't link, programmers link.

What are you talking about.

This directive will place a library search record in the object file and will cause the linker to search for the specified library just as if you had put it on the command line. It will not cause the library to be linked twice or any such thing.

The user of a programming tool or library is another programmer. That's what's he's talking about.
