e-mail problem --need computer name instead of just domain name
Hello
I'm a new one using linux, so i guess my problem is an easy one but hard for me. My friend configure a linux box to be a mail server, so i was using my e-mail as rafael@domain.org. The machine's hard disk just crashed and i tried to rebuild the linux box from scratch. It worked fine but know everytime i want to write e-mail i have to specify the machine name as rafael@machine.domain.org.
is there any way to just use the domain name instead of the machine name:
can i configure the machine to use name@domain.org instead or name@machine.domain.org?
thanks in advance
any help is greatly appreciated.
