I would try re-setting your BIOS, it could be your video card. See your MB manual on how to do this.
Another thing to try is set your monitor up different in windows, go to:
Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager -> Double click on Monitor -> Double click on the icon that pops out -> Update Driver -> (for windows osr2 or 988 click select it from a list) scroll down to standard monitor types -> choose Plug & Play monitor or Super VGA ****x**** (Monitor res)

If what compmania suggested doesn't work, try modifying your video card's refresh rate(found in Display Properties), sometimes the video card supports refresh rates that the monitor doesn't. This would cause the monitor not to save the screen settings.

Hope this helps you out

Well until now I was made the next:
I was re-setting the BIOS.
I changed de refresh rate at differents optios like optimal, pre-defined by the adapter and others according to the monitor specifications.
The things continue equally.
There is something that I remember and that I have not commented, the problem began after I installed a game (it runs in MS-DOS).
Some other suggestion?

Check for a file named Autoexec.bat in C:\ If it is there, open it up in a text editor, copy the contents and post it here. Then I can see if the game set a program to load at the start of your computer.

Does your screen get distorted just by starting up the computer, or do you have to run the games ?
If it does get distorted even without the games, does it happen when you first turn it on or when Windows starts?

OK, This is the information:

SET MSINPUT=C:\MSINPUT
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 P330  T6
SET CTSYN=C:\WINDOWS
C:\ARCHIV~1\CREATIVE\SBLIVE\DOSDRV\SBEINIT.COM
mode con codepage prepare=((850) C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\ega.cpi)
mode con codepage select=850
keyb la,,C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\keyboard.sys
@C:\ARCHIV~1\NORTON~2\NAVDX.EXE /Startup

SET PATH=%PATH%;C:\WINDOWS\Twain_32\Scanwiz;C:\WINDOWS\Twain\Scanwiz

By the other hand my Screen:
1) Get distorted just by starting up the computer
2)When start games in MS-DOS
3) When turn on the PC and (Windows starts)
4) When turn off it.

Thank you for you interest and support
