Yesterday I purchased "Deluxe Linux Operating System 6.5"
and after installation the sound card, monitor and the graphics card are not recognised
by the system.

My Dell has the following hardware:
17" M780 Dell Monitor,
32MB NVIDIA TNT2 M64 Graphics Card,
Yamaha XG 64 V Wavetable Sound Card.

Can this be fixed?  The graphics I am running with is in a reduced (and pityful!) mode and if this can at least be fixed, then I will have a usable system.

I would appreciate a timely response.
Many thanks!

Neither the TNT2 or the Yamaha is supported. www.nvidia.com has beta drivers for the tnt2 that are recommended for developers only.

FOr the yamaha you need OSS which is available from www.opensound.com and cost about $30-40
