Yes there are runtime errors that can occur in VB.  To deal with these, you need an error handler in effect for each procedure.

You can accomplish this by using:

    On Error Resume Next

    On Error Goto xxxx

When an error handler is in effect, you can check the states of the system variable "Err".

If Err is 0 then no error has occurred, otherwise, Err contains the error number of the error that occurred.

You can get the error message of the error by using x=Error$(Err)

Hope this helps!
