I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

On any form, capture the Form_QueryUnload event. This gets passed two parameters :

Cancel (ByRef)

If UnloadMode = 2 then the closing of the window is occurring because Windows is shutting down. To prevent it, set Cancel to any non-zero value and exit the sub.
