Fax via HyperTerminal

Is it possible to send mails to a fax machine by HyperTerminal in Windows?

Hyperterminal is only designed to talk to a DCE (Data carrier, modem in this case)

The program will do nothing more then send data to the modem.

TO send a fax you would need to

1. Initialize the modem in FAX modem [hyperterm can do this]

2. Call the receiver and establish a connection [Hyperterm can do this]

3. Start the FAX dialog with the proper protocols. [Hyperterm has no concept of this, but will only display garbage for a few seconds, then the other end will think "Well, he isnt answering my negotiation" and hang up on you.]

You need a fax application to do this.
