CAN'T SEE THE DETAILS IN EXPLORER

WHEN I TRY TO VIEW THE DETAILS IN EXPLORER, ALL MY FILE NAMES DISAPPEAR.  I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING.  IF A JUST LIST THE FILES, THEY SHOW UP.  I ALREADY TRIED UNDER VIEW - FOLDER OPTIONS - VIEW - ALL THE DIFFERENT OPTIONS.  I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE I CAN DO TO VIEW THE DETAILS.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The columns may have been resized making the name fields too small to view. Try resizing the columns.

When you open a folder what titles do you see across the top of the folder. Could be the columns are sized wrong so that you only see blank columns. You can resize the columns by clicking and dragging the divider bar between the columns.

Look at the bottom of the file window.  Is there a scroll bar?  If so, is it all the way to the left end?  If not, just drag it back to the left.

Thanks! The divider bars were put all the way to the left side. I can't believe I didn't see that before.  How could that happen? I know I didn't slide them over.
