Exchange Server Backup

I'm new to Exchange and new to my company.  They don't back it up and I'm in charge of doing that with only NT Backup as my program.  What steps do I need to take to do this and can it be done in the middle of the day with users online?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You need to get the NT Backup program off the Exchange Cd itself. Regular backup is not Exchange aware. It should have installed the new backup when Exchange was installed. I am almost entirely sure that it cannot be done with users online, but you can always schedule the backup for the middle of the night.  Make sure you run the newest SP after you install the latest NT Backup.
