Set registry to make it faster
If I clicked on start menu button, then use pointed to the
programs, then pointed to sub programs, the menu was
popped out not very fast.
I know I can go to the registry and change a value in a place,
I did it before and it worked, but I forget how to do it now.
Can any experts show me how to do it ?

rayt333 is correct but there is another by installing Tweak UI from your Win 98 CD. Tweak UI will also let you adjust other basic windows functions without you having to edit the registry.

Data Type: REG_SZ
Data: 0-999 (milliseconds)
Modify the value of 'MenuShowDelay' according to the delay you would like before the menus are shown (the value is time in milliseconds).
