I have a Compaq Preserio, model 5050. I have recently and succesfully formatted and partitioned my hard drive the way I want it. &nbsp;I have also installed W98 SE, which is what I want. &nbsp;However, W98 does not have the driver for the integrated modem on the motherboard. &nbsp;The modem is a Rockwell HCF 56K. &nbsp;Of course, Compaq, in its wisdom has supplied a (dreadful) recovery disk that I could use to get this driver installed, but then, I have a computer that is configured by some techie who thinks he knows best what I want. There is also a PCI Serial Controller that has a yellow &quot;?&quot; in the device manager. &nbsp;It also needs a driver. &nbsp;Where do I get these drivers?
