Sockets and binary files ( like picture )

How can i send a binary file ( like a picture ) using sockets.
If you can add a sample it will be the best.

                               Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can send any kind of data (ASCII, binary, executables, etc.) via the sockets interface.  The transport doesn't care what you send.  It just sends what you give it to send and (if using TCP) ensures reliable delivery.

Is this a homework problem or something?
