Using CDO to create an RTF message

I am using CDO in VB to create a message that a user can edit before it is sent. The user requires the message to be in rich text format. I am currently using the mapirtf.dll but someone told me there is a cleaner way of doing this in the code. Possibly a property of the message? Thanks!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

To Apply it:
In this sample the cRTF variable =
RichTextBox1.textRTF
