I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Using the Frontpage Tools Permissions option choose "Use Unique Permissions for this web" for each of the sites that you host. Then add the users that are permitted to author their particular site.

When you have created the root web, start making vitual webs with unique login settings.

Create a separate NT user account for each virtual web

Remember to give each user the right "log on locally":

In the "User manager for domains":
- Policies
- User rights
- dropdownbox - log on locally
- Add the user

Otherwise the user will never be able to log on without administrator rights.
