I think I am completely losing my mind, as I have done this task a thousand times in the past.  How do you change the image on a Notes icon which exists on the desktop?  I'm using R5.  I'm finished racking my brain over this one.

Yea, it is a pain when you know you should know the answer and it just won't come to you.

So here.

Open the database in Designer go to other... in the design element list and double click on the icon  when the design elements come up.  manipulate it just as you would any bitmapped icon.

Hope this helps.

Just a word of clarification for R5:  from the designer client the database icon is hidden under RESOURCES > OTHER > ICON.
