boot disk problems ver. 2.00000

I asked a question earlier I installed a copy of Macmillan Linux-Mandrake 6.5 without much difficulty. I want to use a boot disk to dual boot (win98). During the setup I create the boot disk yet when the sys tries to reboot I get an error when a kernel tries load and it fails. I've tried the setup boot disk process with four different floppies.

Thanks in advance.

no no no, it seems nobody here knows anything about dos, or windows for that matter, exit windows to dos, (under start shut down, reboot to dos) type "cd.." (without quotes) now type "format a: /s"(exactly inserting a \ will mess it up) (after you put the floppy disk in of course) now copy config.sys and autoexec.bat a:\ to do that type "copy config.sys a:\" (without quotes) now type (copy autoexec.bat a:\"(without quotes)
linux installed on HDB & win98 installed on HDA linux boot disk is failing, lilo set boot form HDB.
The boot disk fails while the kernel is loading.

Thanks for any help,
Chuck
