Ceck for sub-dir

How to check for sub-dir.
I use this code:
opendir(D,"$imgbuttonpath/$lang");
push(@dir_list,readdir(D));
closedir(D);

But is will select the . and .. also.
And it will select the files in this dir also.

I only want the sub-dirs

push @dir_list, grep { !/^\.\.?$/ && -d "$imgbuttonpath/$lang/$_"} readdir(D);
