Exchange Server Smtp from Send Mail

Does anyone know if there is a way to have exchange import internet email from a unix sendmail server into there exchange mailboxes?  Currently we have an internal company exchange server that only does internal email and scheduling.  We want in to import internet email for some of the employees into there exchange mail box.  Currently we do this with the outlook client but we would rather do this with the exchange server.

Not sure if this will help you, but http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_smtp_ispissues.htm

There are 3 ways:
1. In UNIX box forward the mail for your employees to Exchange Server (just put .forward file in their home directories containing their Exchange Server e-mail)
2. Use ETRN - this works only on dial-up connections
3. Use 3rd party software (some of them are using POP3 protocol for retrieving mail which is not available in native Exchange Server)

You can also set up an IMC (Internet Mail Connector) on the Exchange server to receive from your UNIX SMTP.  Set up a forwarding alias to resolve to your fully qualified Exchange SMTP Name.
