Samba and User Manager for domains

Hi,

What I want to do is this,

I am running samba 2.0.3 (I think) on a RedHat 6.0 server. I would like to be able to manage user accounts and so on through the user manager for domains.

I have already set up all the samba bits like domain logons, encrypted passwords and username mappings but when I go into the User Manager for Domains it says "The RPC call failed, do you want to select another domain to administer?"

Please help,

CtRl.

You can't do that.

The best you can do is tell samba to use the NT as the auth. source.

THis will make samba query the NT for users/passwords.

You can NOT use the MS utils to manage accounts on a samba server.
