DirectSound: How to change ds-object-settings created by another application


I need to change the volume of an other application using direct sound.
I do not want to change the master-volume (windows api)!
How do i do this?

easy answer...

you can't do this. unless you hack yourself in the other executable and get the Idirectsoundbuffer interface you can't change anything.

the only option you have is to change the master volume.
