I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I just wanted to know what is delegation ,should I post another question for this?

its not mentioned in the indicated thread.
KangaRooCommented:
No need, I was just checking if it was mentioned somewhere. I haven't used or studied that pattern, I'll have to look it up.

Can you tell me what is simple delegation?

thanks
KangaRooCommented:
This is probably a very simple 'pattern'.

class A { void f(); };
class C
{
   A* a;
   public:
     void f() { a->f(); }
}

Objects of class C delegates responsibilities to objects of another class.
