"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try VSReports. Its less than $200. It has a conversion utility that will convert access to a different format for the reports requested. Then you put an invisible control on a form. The control has propertys and methods that allow running the report with parameters etc. It is the only control I know of. And no, you can't run Access reports from VB without having Access itself installed on the target computer. VSReports works fine. You may find it to be slightly slower than Crystal reports, but it does work.
