Linux i-net access through MS Proxy Server 2.0

How do I configure my linux box (not just Netscape) to utilitze the socks proxy service on a Microsoft Proxy Server? Not just web access, but be able to FTP, telnet, irc, etc. from the console.  The proxy server is version 2.0 and is currently set to permit all traffic on all ports.  I am currently running Mandrake 7.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not possible, this requires "MS Proxy Client" which isnt available for Unix.
